I'm a Christian, a wife, and a mother of 4 boys aged 10, 8, 6, and 3. We live on Prince Edward Island. You will probably recognize my title..."Education is a life" was borrowed from Charlotte Mason. It refers, of course, to the idea that children, as persons, are not to be stuffed full of facts, but nourished with a rich variety of living ideas. It is my aim that this will characterize not only my homeschool, but also my own life. This blog is intended in part to be a reflection of my own journey of continual learning and thinking. It is also intended as a record for my own joy in remembering in future years. I will consider it a blessing if it encourages or inspires you, as well!
